:: Food for thought ::
An easy, basic rule to check whether something is going to be nutritious and good for you is to work out what it was, when it fell off a tree or grew out of the ground. The longer it takes you to suss it out, the more processed and therefore less beneficial it will be. Rice is easy, rice crispies are slightly more complicated, marshmallow squares will take you about an hour to figure out.
"If anyone wants to save the planet, all they have to do is just stop eating meat. That's the single most important thing you could do. It's staggering when you think about it. Vegetarianism takes care of so many things in one shot: ecology, famine, cruelty." Sir Paul McCartney.
